The Christian is one who has seen a New Light;
Who has experienced a New Birth; Who possesses;
nay, who is possessed by the Everlasting Life.
He is united in a New Relationship,
Rendered Present by a New Covenant.
He is a New Man, to whom there is imparted a New Heart.
He has a New Spirit by Resurrection.
There is implanted a New Nature, from which
there is yielded New Fruit.
He drinks from a New Fountain.
He has a New Outlook; he walks a New Way.
He has a New Name; has been given a New
Tongue, by which he proclaims a New Doctrine.
He is clothed with a New Garment;
He breaks forth with New Song.
He follows a New Commandment;
His allegiance, to a New King:
He’s the recipient of New Mercies;
Abounds in New Grace.
He looks for a New Day, when he
shall be robed in a New Body;
Shall enter the Gates of a New City;
And then shall witness All Things New,
The New Heaven and New Earth!
